Home Remedies For Wrinkled Hands

Wrinkles are the result of your skin losing elasticity and nobody wants to deal with it at an early age.
Aside from having wrinkles on the face and neck, you may also develop wrinkles on your hands. This can be due to dehydration, hormonal changes in the body, excessive sun exposure, environmental pollution, excessive tanning, smoking, poor diet, genetic factors, and certain medications.

Furthermore, a lot of people usually don’t really care about their hands to the degree they make an effort to keep their face wrinkle free.

If you want to get rid of wrinkles from your hands permanently, you need to include cleansing, exfoliating, and moisturizing on your regular skincare routine.

Here are some simple and effective home remedies that can use to make your hands smooth and wrinkle-free.

Overripe Bananas

Due to its moisturizing properties, an overripe banana makes a great home remedy for wrinkled hands.

Banana is rich in essential nutrients like vitamins (A, B and E), potassium, zinc, magnesium, and iron which help a lot in rejuvenating the skin along with fighting wrinkles.

Mash 1 overripe banana into a thick paste and apply it on your hands. Leave it on for 30 minutes before rinsing it off with lukewarm water. Do this once daily.

Coconut Oil

As a natural emollient, coconut oil fills in the gaps in your skin and makes it feel smooth. It also protects the skin from damage due to the sun’s harmful ultraviolet (UV) rays.

Apply warm extra-virgin coconut oil on your hands before going to bed. Massage for about 5 minutes using circular motions. For best result, wear gloves overnights. Repeat this simple remedy daily.

Olive Oil

This healthy fat can keep your hands smooth and wrinkle-free. Along with essential fats, the vitamin E content of this oil stimulate collagen production to help reduce wrinkles.

It also prevents premature signs of aging by tightening the skin.

Apply olive oil on your hands. Massage with it for 5 to 10 minutes before putting on cotton gloves to keep the oil on your hands. Do this daily before going to bed. Rinse it off with warm water the next morning.

Aloe Vera

Aloe vera has moisturizing properties that prevent premature aging signs like wrinkles and retain moisture in the skin. Its gel contains polysaccharides that stimulate skin regeneration.

Cut open a fresh aloe vera leaf and remove the gel. Apply the gel on your hands. Massage gently for a few minutes. Let it sit for 15 minutes and then rinse it off with lukewarm water. Do this once daily.

Tomatoes

Tomatoes are rich in antioxidants that help fight the damage caused by oxidative stress to your cells thereby delaying skin aging and making it less prone to wrinkles.

Rub a slice of tomato on your hands for 5 minutes. Wait another 5 minutes, then rinse it off using cool water. Do it twice daily. You can also drink a glass of tomato juice daily to nourish your skin from within.

Honey

Honey has antioxidant and humectant properties that fight wrinkles. It keeps your hands extra soft and smooth by helping lock in moisture.

Rub a little honey all over your hands and leave it on for about 10 minutes. Rinse it off with lukewarm water. Repeat 1 or 2 times daily to enjoy soft and wrinkle-free hands.
