Women usually use feminine products in cleaning their private areas. They were not aware that there are different habits that they regularly do which add on their risk of getting ovarian cancer. According to the National Institute of Science, there are certain habits that are connected to ovarian cancer which have been reportedly done by a number of women around the globe.
Ovarian cancer has been known as the growth of tumor in the ovary. This has been known to be a “silent killer” because it does not show any visible symptoms until it is already severe and incurable.
Habit That Contributes To The Risk Of Having Ovarian Cancer
Washing your private part with the use of douching water of fluids is discouraged as it may destroy the natural balance of healthy bacteria and may lead to an infection.
In a study involving 232 participants, 29% said that they frequently wash their private part while there are at least 57% that does the other way around. Results of the study also shown that those 29 has cases linked to diseases such as cervical cancer, pelvic inflammatory disease, fungal infection and even reduced fertility.

Across the world on a yearly basis, there are at least 7,300 numbers of women that are diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Sad to say the survival rate for this is just 35%, which means 11 women die every day due to this type of cancer.
It’s not easy to treat a highly and aggressive ovarian cancer. However, a lot of women are still doing this kind of habit without even thinking about its long-term results.
