An Anti-Inflammatory Recipe That You’ll Want To Make Over And Over Again

Turmeric has been used a long time ago in Chinese medicine because of its anti-inflammatory properties and proven ability to detoxify the body and decrease the risk of cancer. Moreover, studies showed that it can also improve kidney function, cognitive function, and blood sugar balance.

Aside from the usual dishes like curry, this remarkable spice is making its way into breakfast food. Adding a little bit of it on your oatmeal would give you a glowing golden bowl of turmeric oatmeal. Who doesn’t love a bowl of sunshine and a super healthy kick in the morning?

The flavor of this spice is quite floral and fragrant, a little on the sweet side, thus making it a perfect match for some fruit. Meanwhile, oatmeal on its own is a little too bland wherein the turmeric can add a nice earthy flavor in it. But once all the toppings are added, this super healthy breakfast really comes to life.

To keep this bowl super healthy, some frozen raspberries, blueberries, desiccated coconut, dried cranberries, seeds, and mixed nuts can be added. The fruit alone is more than enough to sweeten and add a punchy sharpness which complements the turmeric oatmeal perfectly! Starting your day with this bowl will make you feel so vibrant and awake.

Here’s how to make this unique, delicious breakfast recipe:
