Different Apple Cider Vinegar Mixtures For Kidney Stone Remedy

Kidney stones are formed when salt and other minerals like oxalate, calcium, and uric acid in urine stick together. Their sizes range from the size of a sugar crystal to a ping pong ball. However, they rarely notice until a blockage and pain are felt. When kidney stones move through the urinary tract, you may feel severe pain in the back, belly, or groin, frequent and painful urination, blood in the urine, and nausea and vomiting.

When it comes to this condition, there are simple home remedies you can try to remove kidney stones if you don’t want to take medication or undergo surgery.

If taken properly, apple cider vinegar (ACV) can be an effective natural remedy for dissolving and removing kidney stones.

ACV contains citric, acetic, and phosphoric acid that helps soften, dissolve and even reduce the size of the kidney stones, thereby letting them pass through the urinary tract. During digestion, it triggers the production of hydrochloric acid which prevents the formation of new kidney stones in the future. Pain and discomfort caused by kidney stones can also be eliminated with the help of ACV.

Here are some of the popularly tried and tested methods on how to use ACV for treating kidney stones.

ACV With Lemon Juice, Olive Oil, And Water

Due to the citric acid content of lemon juice, it can help lower the acidity of your urine and get rid of kidney stones.

For this remedy, you need to make a solution by mixing freshly squeezed lemon juice and 2 ounces of organic olive oil. Drink the mixture followed by drinking another 12 ounces of purified water.

After 30 minutes you need to drink again a solution made from mixing one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar and 12 ounces of water with the juice of half a lemon. Repeat this process once every hour until stone dissolves.

ACV And Coconut Oil

Mix 2 tablespoon each of apple cider vinegar and coconut oil in 16 ounces of warm water. Prevent new kidney stones from forming by taking this solution as many times a day.

ACV And Baking Soda

Kidney stones usually occur when the body becomes acidic. Baking soda can help alkalize it quickly, thereby preventing stones from existing and forming.

In a glass of water, simply mix 1 ounce of apple cider vinegar and 1/2 a teaspoon of baking soda. Drink the solution slowly over a 30-minute time span once it stops fizzing. Do this three times a day until you have experience results.

ACV With Honey

Simply combine one teaspoon of ACV and 2 teaspoons of raw, organic honey. If the taste is too strong, you can add a little bit of water. As much as possible, drink this mixture frequently throughout the day every day for you to be relieved of your kidney stones.

Apple Cider Vinegar Poultice

In a pan, mix equal quantities of ACV and water and then heat. Let the mixture cool for a bit and then soak a clean washcloth for a few seconds. Wring the cloth to remove the excess water and place it on the painful areas. Do this twice daily until your pain goes away completely.

ACV And Water

For this remedy, you need to mix two tablespoons of ACV and 6-8 ounces of water. Drink the mixture before meals to prevent a buildup of kidney stones.

Keep drinking this mixture once or twice weekly even if you have already eliminated the kidney stones. By doing this, you will prevent the recurrence of stones.

Helpful Tips

If you have kidney stones, you need to avoid sugar-sweetened sodas since they only increase the risk of kidney stone formation. Stay hydrated by drinking lots of water (about 8-10 glasses of water) in order to dilute the substances in your urine that cause the formation of stones. You can also try drinking lemonade and orange juice as they contain citrate that prevents the formation of the stones.

Here are some other tips you need to consider if you’ll be using ACV as a treatment for kidney stones:

  1. If you are going to include apple cider vinegar to your everyday diet, you need to first consult a doctor.
  2. ACV should be avoided you’re suffering from any kind of underlying medical condition.
  3. Directly drinking undiluted apple cider vinegar should be avoided since it may cause severe uncomfortable stomach problems and burning sensation in your throat.
  4. For those suffering from gout, ACV can help lower the formation of uric acid crystals, thereby reducing pain and inflammation.
  5. Since ACV is acidic, you need to drink plenty of water and small quantities of natural fruit juices to prevent damaging your tooth enamel or to fight off any kind of throat irritation.
