3 Wonder Tonics That Can Help Fight Inflammation
Certain foods have a huge role in fighting or aiding against inflammation. Anti-inflammatory drinks made from anti-inflammatory foods may help us alleviate pain associated with various diseases. For those who are looking for pain relief for their inflammation, trying these tonics may provide some help.
Lemon + Turmeric Tonic
This tonic requires us to have the following in a small saucepan.
- 1 tbsp. freshly grated turmeric
- 1 tbsp. freshly grated ginger
- the juice of 1 lemon

Simmer them over medium to medium-high heat, and then turn off the heat. Set a small strainer over serving glasses and divide the liquid between two mugs. Drink 1 to 1 2/3 cups of lemon and turmeric tonic every day for up to four weeks.
Strained leftovers can be stored up to two to three days in the fridge. Simply reheat it on the stovetop to consume it.
