Honey

It can promote healthy skin by moisturizing dry skin. Simply mix one teaspoon of honey with mashed banana and apply the paste as a face mask. Leave it on for at least 15 minutes. A single spoon can also help a cough. It is best to mix a teaspoon into hot water or tea. This drink will help our body fight the infection quicker while reducing scratchiness. Honey can also be used to heal wounds and burns.


Oatmeal


Itchy skin, rashes, and dryness are all treatable with oats. Fill a sock with dry oats and seal it. Soak in the tub with this oat filled sock for at least twenty minutes. The oats will have a deep moisturizing effect that will immediately improve the feeling and condition of our skin. The oats will also lock moisture in, thereby keeping the skin supple.


Ginger


Ginger has been used as an effective natural remedy for a range of different problems. It possesses healing properties that help in everything from nausea to stomachache to inflammation and joint pain. Moreover, ginger can also help in strengthening the immune system and fighting infections. We can add ginger into our meals or have a healthy ginger tea to heal the entire body.


Bananas


Banana is a food we can eat if we experience a hard time falling asleep. It contains an amino acid known as tryptophan which helps regulate the body’s sleep-wake cycle. Bananas are also loaded with magnesium and potassium that have calming effects in the mind and body thereby promoting relaxation and greatly improve sleep quality.


Green Tea


Green is known by many people around the world. It contains catechins that are responsible for its numerous health benefits. Green tea has been shown to improve blood flow and lower cholesterol. It can also prevent the growth of odor-causing bacteria, especially in the mouth. Steep two tea bags in warm water and use the solution as a natural mouth wash. Doing this will help get rid of oral bacteria.


Baking Soda


Baking soda, also known as sodium bicarbonate, has a variety of household uses and health benefits. It is a natural antacid that we can use to treat heartburn or acid reflux. It also works as a cleaning agent. Also, baking soda to treat bee stings and rashes. For this, we only need to make a paste by mixing equal parts of baking soda and water and apply it to the affected area to reduce itchiness. For plaque or discolored teeth, simply sprinkle enough baking soda to cover the toothbrush bristles and brush the teeth as usual.


Black Pepper


Black pepper serves up all sorts of health benefits including improved digestion, helps relieve coughs and colds, treats skin problems, and boosts the immune system. It is known for its antibacterial and antibiotic properties due to its piperine content. For persistent cough, steep freshly ground black pepper in boiling water for 15 minutes. Strain and drink with a teaspoon of honey to enhance black pepper’s antibacterial effects.
