Boost Water Intake


When it comes to overall health, proper hydration is essential. Adequate intake of fluids is also important for those who want to tighten and firm up their skin thus making it smooth and radiant in the process. Experts advise that we should drink around 6-8 glasses of water daily or more.  Aside from preventing dryness and maintaining its natural glow, a study shows that water can also help improve our skin’s elasticity especially when we are trying to lose weight.


Moisturize

Moisturizing is a key part of helping to tighten and improve the appearance of our skin. It will also prevent fine lines and wrinkles from appearing. Look for products that contain aloe vera, hyaluronic acid, vitamin C, vitamin A, and vitamin E as they can help hydrate the skin, and increase collagen and elastin formation.

Coconut oil is rich in vitamin E and can be applied to the skin. It also has antibacterial properties that can soothe the skin.


Massage The Area


Massages are great for our skin. Massaging loose skin can increase blood flow and help evoke an anti-aging response which in turn can help our skin become smoother, firmer, and tighter too.

We don’t need to go to the spa all the time to get a massage. We can massage our own body with the help of essential oils like lavender. Alongside massage, we can also use a salt or sugar scrub to increase blood flow.


Limit UV Exposure

Along with a healthy diet, weight training can help replace that lost fat with muscle mass thus lessening the appearance of loose skin.
