Potato Juice
Its vitamin C content helps in boosting collagen production which in turn helps in maintaining skin firmness and elasticity. Meanwhile, zinc works by protecting and healing damaged tissues.
Use potato by peeling and cutting it into inch-sized pieces. Rub the pieces on the areas that we want to lighten, so the juice is spread onto our skin. Leave on for 15-20 minutes and wash using water.
We can also grate the potato, squeeze out the juice, then apply it with the help of a cotton pad.
Turmeric
Make a paste by mixing 1/2 tablespoon turmeric with 2 teaspoons Aloe Vera and then apply on the concerned area. Leave on for 30 minutes before washing it off. Achieve the best results by doing this for a couple of weeks.
Also, the power of turmeric mixed with the natural bleaching power of lime juice will make for an effective whitener. This remedy simply requires us to mix one teaspoon of turmeric powder with three tablespoons of lime juice to form a thick paste. Apply evenly to the face or desired area.
Papaya And Oatmeal
Simply blend a slice of papaya with two tsp of whole oats in a mixer. Wash the face clean and gently scrub the mixture on it. Leave it on for twenty minutes. Wash it with lukewarm water and pat dry. Repeat twice a month for the best results.
Ripe papaya can also be mixed with cucumber to help remove a tan. Grated watermelon, pineapple, and apple can also be added for more benefits.
